We have tried to keep our terms and conditions as few as possible and also as simple as possible.

Wherever we use the word plants would you also please take it to mean bulbs as well, if applicable

Payment

We currently accept payment by Paypal, cheque, postal order, banker's draft and credit cards. Please note, however, that we cannot accept payments through American EXpress.

Cheques, postal orders or banker's drafts should be made payable to 'G. Mathias'

We do reserve the right to wait until a cheque payment is cleared through the banking system although we normally, but at our absolute discretion, may despatch plants on receipt of a cheque.

If a cheque payment fails to clear the banking system, then we will ask the sender for an additional payment to cover our reasonable costs incurred.

Our Guarantee

We guarantee the quality of our plants 100%. This means that we will only send plants that are viable and in good condition to you.
It does happen that whilst in transit damage may occur, although we go to great lengths to protect your plants during transit, and we ask that all damages are reported back to us on receipt. We will replace any damaged plants free of charge to you.

Delivery System

We currently send all our plants via Royal Mail to UK addresses only and this is not a guaranteed system. You will normally receive an e mail notification when your order has been posted and we would ask you to report any non arrival 7 days after receipt of this e mail.

We will normally replace any missing plants free of charge, but it is at our absolute discretion and we may decline to post plants to areas that have a poor delivery performance, although we will, of course, notify you if this is the case.

Depending on the quantity of plants ordered, you may receive a large package and because the plants are perishable you should notify your postman and ideally arrange a place where they can be safely left. We will add a label to the package to ask the postman to leave the package in a pre-arranged place.

Substitution

We will always try to keep adequate stocks of all plants thta we offer for sale, however there are numerous factors beyond our reasonable control that mean that sometimes we are unable to supply the exact variety of plant ordered.
In that case, we will substitute an alternative plant of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.
